Generalization of best proximity points theorem for non-self proximal contractions of first kind
The primary objective of this paper is the study of the generalization of some results given by Basha (Numer. Funct. Anal. Optim. 31:569-576, 2010). We present a new theorem on the existence and uniqueness of best proximity points for proximal ?-quasi-contractive mappings for non-self-mappings S: M? N and T: N? M. Furthermore, as a consequence, we give a new result on the existence and uniqueness of a common fixed point of two self mappings. - 2019, The Author(s).Scopu
On the Basis Number of the Strong Product of Theta Graphs with Cycles
In graph theory, there are many numbers that give rise to a better understanding and interpretation of the geometric properties of a given graph such as the crossing number, the thickness, the genus, the basis number, etc.
C-class functions with new approach on coincidence point results for generalized (ψ,φ)-weakly contractions in ordered b-metric spaces
In this paper, by using the C-class functions and a new approach we present some coincidence point results for four mappings satisfying generalized (ψ,φ) -weakly contractive condition in the setting of ordered b-metric spaces. Also, an application and example are given to support our results.Scopu
Fixed point results of F-rational cyclic contractive mappings on 0-complete partial metric spaces
© 2018 Forum-Editrice Universitaria Udinese SRL. All rights reserved. Wardowski [19] introduced a new concept of contraction which called F-contraction and proved a fixed point theorem on complete metric space. Following this direction of research, in this paper, we introduce an F-rational cyclic contraction on partial metric spaces and we present new fixed point results for such cyclic contraction in 0-complete partial metric spaces. An example is given to illustrate the main result, also an application to integral equation is given to show the usability of our results
Some fixed and periodic point results for generalized contractions on partial ordered metric space with applications in metric space
In this paper, we introduce new type of Θ-contraction in termof a self-mapping on a metric space to obtain common fixed point results. Some examples arealso provided to support the validity of our results and concepts presented herein. As an application of our results, periodic point results forthese Θ-contractions inmetric spaces are proved.Scopu
Engine oil based MoS2Casson nanofluid flow with ramped boundary conditions and thermal radiation through a channel
The modern era is a time to have cost-effective and energy-efficient technology. This demand has made nanotechnology the most effective field. The focus of this article is to increase the efficiency of engine oil (EO). The flow of EO-based Casson nanofluid containing Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanoparticles is investigated with ramped wall conditions and thermal radiation. Analytical results are calculated via the Laplace transform. The impact of physical parameters on isothermal and ramped conditions is illustrated graphically and discussed in detail. The researchers found that flow, mass, and energy can be controlled by using ramped conditions. The variation in concentration, temperature, and velocity is exponential for isothermal conditions and steady for ramped wall conditions. Finally, the results of Nusselt numbers, skin frictions, and Sherwood numbers on both walls of the channel for both isothermal and ramped conditions are graphically depicted and discussed. For higher values of time the results of ramped and isothermal wall conditions are identical. It is found that the nanoparticles of MoS2 enhance the lubrication and heat transport rates of EO.The authors would like to express the gratitude to Deanship of Scientific Research at King Khalid University , Saudi Arabia for providing funding research group under the research grant number R.G.P. 2/51/43 . Extremal number of theta graphs of order 7
For a set of graphsF, letH(n;F) denote the class of non-bipartiteHamiltonian graphs onnvertices that does not contain any graph ofFas a subgraphandh(n;F) = max{E(G) :G∈H(n;F)}whereE(G) is the number of edges inG.In this paper we determineh(n;{θ4, θ5, θ7}) andh(n;θ7) for sufficiently odd largen. Our result confirms the conjecture made in [1] fork= 3.Scopu
An upper bound of the basis number of the semi-strong product of cycles with bipartite graphs
An upper bound of the basis number of the semi-strong product of cycles with bipartite graphs is given. Also, an example is presented where the bound is achieved
New Multiple-kink solutions and singular-kink-solutions of (2 + 1) - Dimensional coupled burgers system with time variable coefficients
In this paper, we show that the (2+1)-dimensional coupled Burgers system with time variable coefficients which arise in engineering, chemistry, chemical physics, plasma physics, complex physics and phenomena gives multiple kink solutions and singular kink solutions by means of the Back-lund transformations and simplified Hirota's method. Moreover, we constructed the effects of time variable coefficients. Copyright 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.Scopu
